Independent research and engineering
Threshold Signalworks is an independent applied research and engineering effort focused on making model behaviour measurable, auditable, and stable under uncertainty.
Contemporary language models can be highly capable while still failing in consistent and structurally predictable ways: hallucination under uncertainty, brittle reasoning, and poor recovery after early errors. These behaviours limit deployment in high-stakes, regulated, and decision-critical environments.
Our work focuses on:
Threshold Systems is the research arm of Threshold Signalworks, running small, well-controlled experiments to characterise failure modes and identify where instability enters during inference, tool use, and workflow integration.
A measurement engine for behavioural drift, brittleness, and instruction-integrity failures. Public release details will follow when the first external-facing artefact pack is ready.
